In 1975, the unit started as "POLYPHASE MOTORS" by Shri. Bharat Shah,       B. Tech. (IIT, Bombay). This was with the experience in Design and Production Departments of a leading MNC motor manufacturer.

In Oct., 2017, the defence buisness, the brand "POLYPHASE" and the title "Polyphase Motors" were handed over to a team in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Mr. Shah continues further activities under the brand "NEOYPHASE" and unit NEOPHASE MOTORS
